This is a vacation our family looks forward to each and every year. We have gone the past 5 years to Southview Cottages and each year is better then the last. It is so peaceful yet so much to do. With the new playground, sandy beach, long boardwalk and pool it is perfect for all families of any age. We would recommend this to any individual family or group gathering.
We've been vacationing here with our family since 1993. Every stay has been full of relaxing at a lake front cottage and catching plenty of fish. The property is always well kept and cottages are very clean. Keep up the good work Southview! Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Excellent spot to bring the family for a week away on Rice Lake!
We came to give our kids a “cottage experience” and Southview Cottages exceeded our expectations! The cottages were very clean, the property is spacious and beautiful- and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

“Amazing resort! The cottages are adorable and super clean! The lake is beautiful and the grounds are always kept clean and very well maintained by the staff. Each cottage comes fully equipped and a BBQ is included on every porch. I will definitely be returning soon!!”
“Just spent a week here with my kids. We had a wonderful week. We stayed here a few years ago and this is our second time back. Kids loved the idea of the stand up boards and the canoes. Cottages are very nice and clean. No issues with anything at all.

“Best place on Earth for family vacation if you like fishing... I spent 2 weeks of EVERY Summer of my childhood here at Southview from about age 6 till 20 years old! My grandparents parents brother and sometimes cousins! Best Summers... Playing "kick the can" past dark and fishing and swimming off the dock to playing on the train... Seriously! Go!”
